The new location for The Temptations is The Grand Majestic Theater! We are
very excited about having an opportunity to perform in this awesome
multi-million dollar state of the art theater.
In the 1960s, the Temptations gave music lovers fair warning: “Get
ready, ‘cause here I come.” Now the music of one of Motown’s iconic singing
groups has indeed arrived, and it’s playing live in the Smokies at the
Majestic Theater in Pigeon Forge at 125 Music Mountain Drive.
The theater’s headline attraction is a musical tribute to the
Temptations starring Nate Evans, who began performing with original
vocalists David Ruffin, Dennis Edwards and Eddie Kendricks. For this newest
tribute to the Motown legends, Evans has assembled a lineup of singers that
is electrifying audiences nightly with nearly two solid hours of Temptations
gold, spanning some 50 albums and 50-plus top 10 singles, like My Girl, Just
My Imagination, Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone, and many more. Throughout the
show Evans shares not only his talents but also his memories of working with
the group¹s original members.
“We saw a niche for bringing something completely different to the
Pigeon Forge market,” says Ron Layher, Producer of the Show. We are excited
about the move to the Majestic with the larger auditorium and lobby giving
our guests a more comfortable experience. “Motown music is making a
resurgence and there’s nothing else like it in this area.” After each show,
Evans and company stick around to meet their guests and sign autographs.
Check out the rave reviews they are getting on Trip Advisor, which has been
the #1 show since last year.
The Temptations perform six nights a week at 8:00 p.m. and have a
Tuesday 2:30 p.m. Matinee through December 19. For ticket info, call
